APD screening is Level 2 under the same statute as healthcare and childcare screening, and results are deposited in the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse — the same shared repository AHCA, the Department of Health, and DCF use. That means a photograph is captured alongside your fingerprints, and it means a current result can sometimes be retrieved by a new provider rather than repeated.

It works only when the record is complete, which is why the photograph matters as much here as it does for AHCA screening. A submission without it posts as an incomplete record and your provider can't retrieve it. We capture the photograph in the same appointment, against the neutral background the specification calls for, so nothing has to be repeated.

The capture itself is the quick part — roughly ten minutes at the scanner, a little longer when a photo or a printed card is involved. Electronic submissions leave our office the same day, so nothing sits waiting on a courier or a weekly batch run.
What happens after that is the agency's clock, not ours. State and federal processing typically returns a result within a few business days, and posting to a board or to the Clearinghouse follows from there. If you are working against a start date or a filing deadline, say so when you book from Greenacres and we will tell you honestly whether the timeline is realistic rather than finding out later that it wasn't.

Both can retrieve the same Clearinghouse result provided each has you on their roster and your status is current. You shouldn't need separate screenings.
A valid government photo ID and the ORI from the provider enrolling you. If they sent enrolment paperwork, bring it — the ORI is usually printed on it.
It depends on whether you're enrolled as a paid provider. Your support coordinator or the enrolling provider will confirm and supply the ORI.
Where both providers participate in the Clearinghouse and your status is current, a result can often be retrieved rather than repeated. Ask the new employer to check.
A dormant Clearinghouse record can require rescreening on return. Keeping your status current through an associated provider is what preserves it.
