The useful thing to understand is that the fingerprinting itself doesn't vary by agency. Rolled and flat impressions are captured the same way whether the destination is a licensing board, a county department, or a port authority. What varies is the ORI, whether a photograph is required, and occasionally whether the agency uses a designated vendor instead of accepting submissions from approved providers generally.
That last case is the only one where we can't help, and it's worth knowing before you drive over. A small number of Florida programmes route applicants to one specific vendor. If we can't, we'll tell you plainly and point you where you need to go rather than take a fee for a submission that won't be accepted.

What happens after that is the agency's clock, not ours. State and federal processing typically returns a result within a few business days, and posting to a board or to the Clearinghouse follows from there.
